French Writing & Art
You can see French written on signs, posters, newspapers, shops and in restaurants. Street signs in France are written in French. Is some ancient towns there are two street signs. One is the original street name and the other is new street name.
French is written using cursive writing. Most signs are written in French only but where there are a lot of tourists you can sometimes see signs in French and English.
There were a lot of very talented artists in France. Not all of them were French but they are associated with different areas in France due to the scenes they painted.
